Dressing in a jar

This is my favorite salad dressing – easy + simple, always ready to use in my fridge or in a jar to take away.

1 tsp honey (or sugar)
1 tsp mustard (sweet or normal)
2 tbsp apple vinegar (or lemon)
4 tbsp olive oil
salt + pepper

The golden rule of a nice vinaigrette is: something sweet (honey or sugar), something acid (vinegar or lemon), something fat (olive oil) and something special (mustard). Dissolve the honey or sugar with a little bit of hot water and let cool down. Add the other ingredients and shake that jar. Season with salt + pepper and anything else that comes to your mind!

Do ahead: I usually have a vinaigrette always ready to be served in my fridge and I treat it like a sourdough: always adding new ingredients and flavors.
